The Best Marriage Advice (Part 1)

I love advice. In fact, I'm mildly obsessed with it. I'll ask for advice on anything from how to improve my softball swing to what kind of car Sarah and I should buy.

On August 6 Sarah and I celebrated our one-year anniversary. Obviously over the best few weeks we spent considerable amounts of time reflecting on our first year. We discussed how we can improve our marriage but also what we would recommend to newlyweds (we certainly don't consider ourselves experts, but we've successfully outlasted this couple--see below).

72 days of wedded bliss
I was going to write a "typical" blog explaining the few things I think are most important in marriage. But then I got to thinking. I'm not very smart. Seriously. That's not intended to be self-deprecating. I just realize there are a lot of really smart people out there that aren't me. So I got this idea.

What if I collected wedding advice from a ton of people, analyzed it, organized it, then wrote my wedding advice post on my finding?

Not a bad idea right?

So here's where you come in. In order for this to work I need people to send me their best wedding advice. It can be three words, thirty words or three hundred. It's entirely up to you. You can either:

  • email me (keith.krass@gmail.com)
  • tweet me (@keithkrass)
  • leave your comments on this blog
  • leave your comments on facebook

I will do my best to sort through the information, summarize and write something. Think of it as the dream team of wedding advice.

Please feel free forward this to family and friends that you think might be interested.

This could be fun...
